Responsibilities<\/h3>\n

I am a Professor in the Virtual Environments and Computer Graphics<\/a> group in the Department of Computer Science<\/a>, University College London<\/a>. I am currently head of the group. My research area<\/a>\u00a0is real-time interactive virtual environments, with particular interest in virtual reality, augmented reality, novel forms of interaction, large-scale graphical models, collaborative systems and networking for tightly synchronous telecollaboration. Details of my active projects can be found here<\/a>. The group runs a CAVE-like facility<\/a>, a large tracking space\u00a0and several other high-end virtual reality systems.<\/p>\n

I am first supervisor\u00a0for several doctoral students: Zoey Zhu, Ruochen Sun, Phoenix Sun, Jingyi Zhang, Kalila Shapiro, Lisa Izzouzi and Nels Numan.<\/p>\n

I was director of the Engineering Doctorate Centre in Virtual Environment, Imaging and Visualisation<\/a> from 2005- 2013 and 2014-2018.<\/p>\n
