He leads the e-learning research group e-UCM (www.e-ucm.es). He is IEEE Senior Member and associate editor of IEEE Transaction on Learning Technologies. His main research interests are e-learning technologies, educational uses of serious games (e.g. medical domain) and application of educational standards, having published more than 160 research papers on these topics.
