The poster and demo session at the 5th International Conference on Digital Health, is an excellent opportunity to see and discuss upcoming research in a number of areas such as health surveillance, big data analytics, epidemic intelligence, serious games for health and Smart Health. Submissions of 200 words and a short title are invited that complement the main conference tracks.
Following the success of the online poster session at the 4th International Conference on Digital Health (eHealth2011), we are also having an online poster/demo session in the form of a flickr gallery where all of the posters (and demos where applicable e.g. a video of the demo) can be viewed and commented upon. You can view an example of the previous “Best Poster” winner here.
During the session itself, inline with one of the conference themes, we are planning on employing a simple form of “gamification” to encourage discussion and attendance.
We hope that these initiatives will raise the profile of the poster and demo submissions and enable discussion before, during and after the conference.
Submission
We invite submissions of 200 words and a short title via EasyChair, conforming to the submission guidelines detailed in the Call for Papers. Posters and Demos will feature on the event website and in the Abstracts book distributed at the conference.
Instructions for Presenters
At the conference, an A0 size poster board will be provided along with double sided tape / pins to mount the poster.
Standard facilities will be available for demos but please contact the Poster/Demo Chair, Dr Ed de Quincey (e.de.quincey@keele.ac.uk), to discuss your requirements.
Details about uploading the demo/poster to the flickr group will be sent nearer to the conference date.
