Dr. Baltasar Fernández-Manjón is a Professor in Computer Science at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). He leads the e-learning research group e-UCM (www.e-ucm.es). He is IEEE Senior Member and associate editor of IEEE Transaction on Learning Technologies. His main research interests are e-learning technologies, educational uses of serious games (e.g. medical domain) and application of educational standards, having published more than 160 research papers on these topics. He is involved in different EU projects (e.g. H2020-RAGE, GALA, SEGAN, CHEMURG) and is R&D evaluator and reviewer for the European Commission.
